Performance Enhancement

could always use a little fine-tuning! Now...for the
first time...the principles of EFT (Emotional Freedom
Technique) are available to help you make the progress
you never believed possible!
Have you always wanted
to play the piano? Have you tried, but never quite
seemed to achieve the results you wanted? Or have you
taken years of lessons, but yet still can't really play
anything?
Or have you been
playing the piano for years, but never achieved the
level you think you could? Do you have the talent and
the desire to be successful, but something seems to be
getting in your way? When you think about playing in
front of an audience, do your hands shake and does your
mind goes blank? EFT can help you banish these problems
quickly and permanently!
Fees for Piano Lessons
The base rate per one-hour lesson in your home
as part of a 6-week session is $50.00 per hour
plus the following travel fee:
- “Sikorsky” area: no travel fee
- The first 15 minutes of travel from my
Shelton/Stratford location is free
- After the first 15 minutes, I charge
$1.00/minute of travel time
For example, suppose it takes me 30 minutes to
travel to your home. The first 15 minutes of
travel is free. The second 15 minutes of travel
costs $15.00 per lesson, so your per-lesson rate
is $65.00 per hour.
A second person at your home taking a lesson
consecutively does not incur a travel fee, so
their per-lesson rate is $50.00 per hour.
Payment
Payment for lessons is in advance for a 6-week
session, or by the lesson. You can pay using
cash or check.
Lesson Schedule
- Lessons are taught in 6-week sessions.
For best results, you should plan to take
one lesson per week for six weeks.
- You can sign up for just one 6-week
session or a series of 6-week sessions.
- If you opt to take a series of 6-week
sessions, you can reserve the same
time slot if desired. However, if you
decide to stop after 6 weeks and
resume later, there is no guarantee that
you will receive the time slot you want.
- If you opt to take a series of 6-week
sessions, you can continue at the same
base rate. However, if you decide to
stop after 6 weeks and resume later, there is no guarantee that you will
receive the same base rate.
- Exception: Children under the age of 6
should take a break after 6 weeks of
lessons. They can continue at the same
base rate at a later time. There is, however, no guarantee that you will
receive the time slot you want.
How I Save You Money
- For each new referral (outside your
immediate household) that signs up for
a 6-week session, you receive a free
bonus lesson. This is a normal, one hour lesson in addition to your 6-week
session.
- Much of the music I use is either heavily
annotated or out of print. I photocopy
this music for your use, so there is
usually no need to buy volumes of
instructional materials.
- Additional students in your household
are often interested in playing the same
music. Older students in the family often
help the younger ones to learn to play
using my structured materials.
“Rules of the Road”
- I teach only students who have a desire
to learn. If you want piano lessons for
your child and your child has no desire
to play the piano, you will need to find
another teacher.
- I teach only students who actually
practice. You may be a very nice person
and I might enjoy your company;
however, if you cannot find the time to practice, you will need to find another
teacher.
- I require advance notice of cancellation.
If I travel to your home and you are not
available, you will be charged the same
as if you actually took the lesson.
